shuffler was just what we needed June 27, 2007 Elaine Hopkins 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
One of the card games we play uses 5 to 7 decks of cards (depending on how many are playing). Manually shuffling that many cards is a real pain, especially if small or arthritic hands are involved! We found one of these shufflers on our travels, and EVERYONE wanted one. I ordered 7 more and gave them away to family & friends -- they are still thanking us.
Ours has had heavy use, and is still working fine and on the first set of batteries. One side feeder sometimes needs a slight lift on the outside edge of the cards in order to feed smoothly (no big deal, but you might try it if one side feeds faster than the other). We found that some cheaper cards can have their edges roughed up by the process, but most cards stay newer longer because they are not being bent across the middle.
It's a little noisier, but we actually enjoy shuffling now, and one of the kids stated that the machine could keep him amused for hours even without a game.
Worth every penny... November 2, 2009 Nancy Peterson (Sonoma, CA USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We play a card game with neighbors called Hand and Foot. It requires use of six decks of cards. The 6-Deck Automatic Card Shuffler is just what we needed. It gets the job done and is entertaining at the same time. Who knew such an inexpensive plastic contraption could work so well and be so much fun!
Talk about fun! June 29, 2009 Brigham007 (FSS Enterprise) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My grandkids won't let me shuffle anymore. This is fun and it works well. Be sure to check out the transparent card holder in the device to insure you have it properly inserted. I tried to find a manual shuffler like my Grandma had, but I settled on this two-C battery version. I'm not disappointed.
card shuffler July 10, 2009 Sunny Daze (Roseburg,, OR United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a card shuffler that would accommodate three or four decks of cards, and this works very well. I am pleased with the product, and could not find anything like it locally.
"Casino" Poker 6-Deck Automatic Card Shuffler :P August 21, 2009 C. HO (Chicago, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This shuffler is a very noisy machine with a cheap plastic body and cheesy label, but it works great!!! What do you expect in 13 bucks??!!!
Who cares about the cheap plastic body?? It does its job!! I tried 4 decks of cards, Uno cards, and Monopoly deals cards. They all shuffle well in this machine. Great product in this price!
*it needs 4 "C" batteries.
